It was a MYP 7 project that we did for I.C.T.
There were four groups and each group was assigned to a different place in Fairview International School. The places were the canteen, the Fairwalk, the bookshop and the i.B. campus.
We investigated the problems and thought of solutions. We took pictures of these problems with a digital camera.
We presented our projects to Mr. and Mrs. Chian (the chairman and the chairman's wife), Mr. Michael and Ms. Chew and we did our presentation according to our research. -SIVRAN MYP7

AS A TEACHER MYSELF,
I was proud of what these students were capable of achieving.
The learning objectives were simple- to learn how to capture images using digital camera and to be able to insert graphics on a slide. Gave it a twist and turn, and they could learn more than that.
The only thing I wanted them to remember was- you can always talk the talk, but you must also learn to walk the walk.
That was why I invited our chairman (and his wife) to come and watched the students' presentation. I wanted the students to realise that they were heard. And they were doing it for a right purpose, to voice out their opinions and at the same time think before they act.
"I simply enjoyed the presentation. It was amazing." said Mrs. Chian after the presentation.
"Use a more dimensional way of thinking. Use the Six Thinking Hats." adviced Mr. Chian.
YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU FAIL,
BUT YOU ARE DOOMED IF YOU DON'T TRY.

Looking forward to your next performance, students.
